TOWN NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Town approved applying for grant monies to go toward a Recreational Trail Program. All work done for 2014. Sub grade looks good. Will gravel and clean up in the spring.

 

A map of the Plum Creek deer management plan is in the office!

Come in and check it out!

A call was put into MDOT to install 2 signs warning of deer crossings. There has been increased deer/vehicle accidents. Greenville PD also suggested Selectmen write a letter and request the speed limit be lowered in this area.

AREA ORGANIZATIONS WHOSE MEMBERSHIP IS PRIMARILY DRAWN FROM THE COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE REGION WILL BE BY DONATION.

There is now a one way road behind the Municipal Building with a sand/salt shed for the residence. This was added as a convenience to the tax payers as we no longer have access to the Greenville sand/salt. Please use caution when driving around. This also bettered the parking for the comunity room.

 

                   

 

WINTER PARKING BAN GOES INTO PLACE IN NOVEMBER. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE ROADWAYS OR LEAVE TRAILERS IN THE ROAD. OUR PLOW MEN NEED TO BE ABLE TO KEEP THE ROADS CLEAN & SAFE.

ALL TAXPAYERS WHO FIND AN ISSUE WITH THE ROADS SHOULD MAKE CONTACT WITH THEIR SELECT PEOPLE, BILL MANAHAN OR Public Works man Chris Roberts OR CALL THE OFFICE ABOUT THEIR CONCERNS. WE WILL CONTACT OUR PUBLIC WORKS MAN AND TRY TO REMEDY THE SITUATION. IF YOU CANNOT REACH ONE SELECTMAN CALL ANOTHER OR LEAVE A MESSAGE ON THE OFFICE MACHINE AND WE WILL ANSWER AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
